Thought field therapy or TFT for short is a psycho-sensory based “tapping” therapy that directly treats the root cause of difficult emotions

TFT was developed by the late Roger Callahan in the 1980s. Dr Callahan was a American Psychologist who discovered that tapping the body gently at specific acupuncture meridian points whilst thinking of the problem “disconnected” the difficult emotion from the thought.

It is a quick and painless treatment which can be repeated for different problems. The memory for any difficult events is not affected. Treatment typically take minutes and so is well suited to a single therapeutic session.

TFT can be used for a number of difficulties which can usually be resolved very quickly
